BARBAKAN
The Barbakan is a contemporary musical dance film made up of four movements.
The piece describes the relationship of two contrastring characters, they loneliness, similarities and differences. The original musical idea of the piece by András Párniczky was developed into a two-part rhythmic composition by Samu Gryllus. What constitute the very essence of this polyrhythmic composition is the dancers'moves and the sound effects thus evoked.

Meeting with literature
Collaboration between a choreographer and a writer can lead to the emergence of a large number of combinations. If sometimes the choreographer creates his dance around the work of an author, the writer can also choose dance as the subject of his text.
