“Three stages mark my journey until today. The first is my experience of gymnastics, practiced in competition until adolescence and which was the domain of the physical body. The second step is my experience of contemporary dance and the encounters it has generated; the one with Jean-Claude Gallotta was the most striking. His domain was that of the sensitive body which went hand in hand with a certain emancipation of the personality. It lasted a long time. The third step is the experience of an internal art, the Bagua, which touches the subtle body. It is a step towards emancipation and freedom. This art encompasses the other two. I discovered it thanks to Mr. Denis Lécuyer, who has been teaching for several years in Aubenas in Ardèche. Everything else is under the guise of selective amnesia. "A.D.

- He promoted the creation of a video-bar and projection room, both dedicated to welcoming school pupils.
- He started «présentations de saisons» in pictures.
- He oversaw the DVD publication of Le tour du monde en 80 danses, a pocket video library produced by the Maison de la Danse for the educational sector.
- He launched the series “scènes d'écran” for television and online. He undertook the video library's digital conversion and created Numeridanse.

Compagnie de l'aube naissante
The Company was created in 1982, at the initiative of Annie Delichères, after having obtained the prize of the Ministry of Culture at the international competition of choreography of Bagnolet, with Basile or the warm nullity of the species. Since then, she has not stopped working in the areas of training, the creation of shows and their distribution. The work directed by Annie Delichères, choreographer and trainer, has always kept the course of professionalism while integrating amateurs. This has made the specificity of a large part of the choreographic achievements, always noticed and sometimes awarded at the international level. The teaching offered by the choreographer makes it possible to train students likely to join the company. The desire to transmit is one of the aspects of the artistic process, the choreographer wanting to share her experience with her dancers whose fidelity and technical level testify to an authentic exchange.

[1930-1960]: Neoclassicism in Europe and the United States, entirely in tune with the times
The Ballets Russes paved the way for what would become known as: neo-classical. Back then, the term “modern ballet” was frequently used to define this renewal of aesthetics: a savvy blend of tradition and innovation, which each choreographer defined in their own way.

The committed artist
In all the arts and here especially in dance, the artist sometimes creates to defend a cause, to denounce a fact, to disturb, to shock. Here is a panorama of some "committed" choreographic creations.

[1970-2018] Neoclassical developments: They spread worldwide, as well as having multiple repertoires and dialogues with contemporary dance.
In the 1970s, artists’ drive towards a new classic had been ongoing for more than a half century and several generations had already formed since the Russian Ballets. As the years went by, everyone defended or defends classical dance as innovative, unique, connected to the other arts and the preoccupations of its time.

Meeting with literature
Collaboration between a choreographer and a writer can lead to the emergence of a large number of combinations. If sometimes the choreographer creates his dance around the work of an author, the writer can also choose dance as the subject of his text.
