Tocqueville
At first, the early state of birth, three characters wake up and grow in complete freedom, with purity of gesture and body.
Then comes the time of civilized beings, their movements get jerky and the characters become violent. They no longer evolve according to their own will, but are rather following the expectations of society, acting as slaves as outer appearances, and letting their double overpower them.
Francheteau, Élodie
Elodie Francheteau trained in Nantes' conservatoire where she received a gold medal, and then in Paris' conservatoire, where she received the first prize of the Jury by unanimity. She works with Frederic Hertin on a hip-hop contemporary capoeira piece and meets Karine Saporta, dancing for her in various projects as a performer. In 2008, she meets Catherine Langlade for her création "dance D", dance vidéo project about Marguerite Duras, and performs as a dancer in the project. Since 2006, Elodie directed and choreographed short danced films such as "Appartement 27", shown on Canal +, SVT (Sweden), Moviela (Canada), screened at festivals in France and awarded in the festival prisdecourts in 2007. Her second film, "Tocqueville", was broadcasted on SVT (Sweden), won the Jury Award at the festival Bazar't production in October 2009, and was also programmed in various French and foreign festivals including through video dance festivals (Brazil, Portugal). Since 2009, she makes recordings, demo tapes as well as video projects for various choreographers such as Lola Keraly, Frédéric Lescure, Elodie Bergerault. In 2011 she produced "N°4", an experimental work, in collaboration with Lola Keraly.
She is currently putting the finishing touches to "The Red carpet", a short film inspired by a photograph by Kourtney Roy, and on "Origines", a choreographic tale written by Marion Ruffié.
