Le bal
We watch… We learn… We practice…
To round off the 2010-2011 season at the National Centre for Dance in Pantin, as festively as possible, Brigitte Seth and Roser Montlló Guberna transformed the Grand Studio of the CND into a dance floor. Their ultra-dynamically staged ball-show invited the spectators to discover and experiment tango, otro-country, Sevillanas and a host of other surprises…
Professional dancers demonstrated a few dances: ballroom (tango), popular (Sevillanas), revisited (otro-country) and imaginary (the broomstick dance). The public was invited to learn the basic dance steps. And everyone indulged themselves with pleasure! And as a way to relax… they listened to and watched the artists punctuate each dance sequence with acted, danced and sung interludes: impromptus, full of fantasy, echoing our two mixing-of-genre enthusiasts.
